In memory of Ian. Ian and I became great friends during flying training at Linton and Culdrose as inevitably happens separate postings meant we lost touch after training - we met briefly again in the 80s in Hong Kong and our last meeting was at 2015 reunion at Dartmouth where he told me about his cancer problems and I told him I was going blind. We both laughed which just goes to show what a black sense of humour the Navy instils in you. I thought I was a good pilot but Ian was better. Fond memories. Roger Dentith
